Friendship is hard to come by these days

Everyday, Elise would wake up, brush her teeth, wash her face and drank water then she would walk down to the kitchen to pick five grapes and have one orange.
After breakfast, she would weight herself and write in her diary of how much weight she had lost. She was always disappointed that she was still the same weight.
Elise, would do two hours of exercise then she would put on her running gear and then listen to her music and let the world disappear. She didn't get out much she stayed in almost everyday, Monday, Wednesday and Sunday were the days you would go out and run. After running she turned the key and made her way to the bathroom to have a shower. She could feel her bones and she hated that, she hated the way they felt and the way they stuck out. She hated everything about her body, she wanted to be someone else. Anyone else except her.
There were two  friends that Elise could bare, to be with, Mary and Amber. Mary was an easy going young lady who loved the out doors, she loved swimming and going out. Amber was a wild women who drank like a fish and yet was very ladylike when it came to men.
Today, Mary and Amber had enough of Elise being miserable they were going to change Elise even if it killed them and however long it took they would get her out of this madness.
"Right Elise, look, look in the mirror" ordered Amber.
"Why? I don't want to. I look disgusting" she replied.
"You are perfect the way you are" said Mary.
"My bones stick out, they look and feel horrible".
"Right, I can't see your bones and you have a great figure" Mary said honestly.
"I hate my body, I want your body" as she looked at Amber she started to cry.
"Elise, if you just look in the mirror and see our bodies compared to yours then you will see that you are perfect the way you are". As she said this both Mary and Amber stood there in their underwear.
As Elise looked in the mirror you could tell that she hated doing it but she loved her friends deeply and knew that they were only trying to help her out. She started to smile and then happy tears started to fall.
"Why are you crying?" asked Amber
"Their happy tears, they are..." as she stopped a loud laugh came out
"What's so funny?" Mary asked
"ha ha ha ha you have hello kitty underwear on"
Mary now had gone red as she totally forgot about hello kitty staring back at her in the mirror.

"It's so easy to judge others isn't it but for gods sake, don't judge yourself you are perfect the way you are"

As they all stood there looking at each other in their underwear they all smiled together and laughed.

Christmas is coming!

Christmas is coming!

Christmas is only a week away and I have nearly bought every present for my "family". Why I write "family" is because I actually see mother, brother, grandma, auntie, uncle and cousin on Christmas eve and on Christmas day I actually spend it with my boyfriend, his dad and my boyfriends godmother.
Now, every year it's getting worse to pick a present for his godmother because, what on earth are you meant to get a women you barley know?!?
My boyfriends dad is just as bad, all he says EVERY YEAR is that he wants piece and quiet. The boyfriend on the other hand is OK to buy he usually says he wants something that I usually can't get either because I don't have the money or simply it's not possible or in fact that he wants something that a child would ask for not a 27 year old grown man.
Now, I know I should be all jolly like the old fat Santa but every year it's getting really hard to be. Weather it's just me getting old I don't know or Christmas is the time for family and mines broken and perhaps the fact that a few years ago my boyfriends mum pasted away a day before Christmas eve I guess doesn't help.
This year, I have tried to make the house like as Christmas as possible, it's not like how the American's do but it has the Christmas tree and the dining room looks great with my wonderful centre piece in the middle of the table that I made out of a huge vase that looks like a wine glass and added ball balls inside it, a cone and some beads. (see picture below)
I am quite proud of myself for that and will be trying something like that more often in 2014. You know, handmade. Food wise I can make truffles and pizza from scratch I must admit I don't do it often but when I do there is a feeling of self satisfaction. I have also painted an old picture frame for school into a much nicer colour of white and then painted flowers on it and the picture? well it was just painted blue with old newspaper sheets cut up to make my name stuck on it. The smile I had on my face that day was great.

If you do one thing next year, make sure you make something from scratch!
Nothing to taxing at first, try what I did for a birthday or make a candle that's simple enough.
Go on, have fun!

I know I will.
